Office Administrator Role Overview

The Office Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment. This position requires a secondary school graduation certificate and approximately 7 months to less than a year of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Administrative Procedures: Review and assess new administrative processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Delegate Tasks: Assign responsibilities to office support personnel to optimize workflow.
  • Prioritize Work: Establish work priorities and ensure adherence to procedures and deadlines.
  • Administrative Activities: Manage the administrative functions of the organization.
  • Policy Administration: Oversee policies and procedures regarding the release of records in compliance with government access to information and privacy laws.
  • Office Services Coordination: Plan and coordinate office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and maintenance.
  • Budget Preparation: Assist in the development of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Data Management: Compile data and prepare regular and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry tasks.
  • Staff Training: Provide training to staff members.
  • Administrative Oversight: Supervise and coordinate office administrative procedures.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflict situations effectively.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll administration tasks.
  • Budget Control: Plan and manage budget and expenditures efficiently.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role involves supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
