Position Overview

The Application Development Team Lead plays a crucial role in collaborating with project teams, business stakeholders, and technical staff to ensure the successful execution of application projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical delivery of application projects throughout the development lifecycle, from planning to execution.
  • Guide the application development team in best practices and departmental standards.
  • Lead the design and development of applications using hybrid Agile methodologies.
  • Engage with various technology areas to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Act as a knowledge expert for core applications and development tools.
  • Support project management by tracking progress and addressing challenges proactively.
  • Facilitate post-project reviews to capture insights and enhance future projects.
  • Ensure the development of high-quality code that meets user needs and emphasizes simplicity and clarity.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote collaborative programming techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand system requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to exceptional service and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in application development.
  • Proficiency in frameworks and platforms such as Microservices, Spring MVC, and Angular.
  • Experience with AWS services and front-end development tools.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Relevant certifications in application development.
