**Job Title:** Business Development Officer - Industrial and Commercial Investment

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Hunter Express Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, developing policies, and administering programs to support economic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies to promote industrial and commercial investment in rural and urban areas.
  • Administer programs to support business development and economic growth.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for investment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and government officials.
  • Provide advice and guidance to businesses on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
  • Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage industrial and commercial investment.
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts on business development and economic growth.
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations on business development and economic growth.
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies to identify opportunities for investment.
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals.
  • Design market research questionnaires to gather data on business development and economic growth.
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials to promote industrial and commercial investment.
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to identify opportunities for investment.
  • Develop feasibility studies to assess the viability of business development projects.
  • Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to support business development and economic growth.
  • Prepare funding applications to support business development and economic growth.
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting new businesses.
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote industrial and commercial investment.
  • Ensure that all business/commercial licenses are in place to support business development and economic growth.
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to promote business development and economic growth.
  • Develop and implement business plans to support business development and economic growth.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development and economic growth.
  • Strong knowledge of business development and economic growth principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
