About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Vice-President to join our team at Galaxy Flooring and Renovation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support business objectives.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and delegate the necessary authority to them.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or management.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large workload.
