About the Role

We're seeking a talented Investment Specialist to join our team in Brampton-Dixie & Hwy 7. As an Investment Specialist, you'll work closely with our Banking Centre employees to build lasting connections with clients and provide personalized investment planning advice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Engagement: Focus on delivering exceptional client experiences, connecting with clients on a personal level, and fostering meaningful relationships.
  2. Business Development: Develop a deep understanding of your local market and client base, working with the banking centre team to build a sales plan that converts leads into deeper relationships.
  3. Community Involvement: Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community through local marketing and outreach activities, establishing local contacts, and partnering with community organizations.

Requirements
  1. Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  2. Valid work or study permit (if applicable).
  3. Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
  4. Ability to complete the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) certification within the first year.
