Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Staff Neonatologist to join our team at the University of Toronto. This is a full-time position that requires a strong academic background and a commitment to excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Level 3 NICU, Mother and Baby Unit, antenatal clinic, and Neonatal Follow-up clinic.
  • Contribute to the academic mission of the University of Toronto by participating in teaching, research, and service activities.
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services that align with the department's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto.
  • At least 2 years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine during fellowship.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience working as an Assistant Professor rank or have an Associate Professor/Professor rank.
  • Demonstrated academic commitment and excellence in clinical care.
  • Special interest or training in subspecialties such as respirology, neurology, nutritional sciences, or other.
  • Eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or comparable qualifications.
  • Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
