Academic Staff Neonatologist Position at University of Toronto

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Staff Neonatologist to join our team at the University of Toronto. This is a full-time position that requires a strong academic background and a commitment to excellence in clinical care, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Level 3 NICU, Mother and Baby Unit, antenatal clinic, and Neonatal Follow-up clinic.
- Contribute to the academic mission of the University of Toronto by participating in teaching, research, and service activities.
- Develop and implement clinical programs and services that align with the department's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Eligibility for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto.
- At least 2 years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine during fellowship.
- At least 5-7 years of experience working as an Assistant Professor rank or have an Associate Professor/Professor rank.
- Demonstrated academic commitment and excellence in clinical care.
- Special interest or training in subspecialties such as respirology, neurology, nutritional sciences, or other.
- Eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or comparable qualifications.
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- A competitive salary range of $241,372 – $255,749.
