About the Position:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Neonatologist to join our faculty at the University of Toronto. As a Staff Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to newborn infants and their families, while also contributing to the academic and research mission of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Level 3 NICU, Mother and Baby Unit, antenatal clinic, and Neonatal Follow-up clinic
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities, including publication and presentation of research findings
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of neonatology

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto
  • Minimum 2 years subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine during fellowship
  • At least 5-7 years of experience working as an Assistant Professor rank or have an Associate Professor/Professor rank
  • Demonstrated academic commitment and excellence in clinical care
  • Eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or comparable qualifications
  • Ability to function proficiently in English
