Academic Dermatologist Position at University of Toronto

About the Opportunity
The Department of Medicine at St. Michael's Hospital, in conjunction with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, is seeking a qualified full-time academic dermatologist. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto with the academic position description of Clinician Teacher (CT), Clinician Educator (CE), Clinician in Quality and Innovation (CQI), or Clinician-Investigator (CI).
Responsibilities
- Support outpatient demands and inpatient consultations.
- Participate fully in the education programs in Dermatology at St. Michael's Hospital and the University of Toronto.
- Lead clinical research and/or quality improvement programs.
- Assess research excellence by the presence of research grants, publications in leading journals, invited presentations at significant conferences, awards, accolades and other related accomplishments.
Requirements
- Hold an MD degree.
- Be eligible for certification in Dermatology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Have or be working towards a graduate degree or other advanced training relevant to their area of specialization.
