About the Position:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Staff Neonatologist to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our Department of Paediatrics, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to newborn infants and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in the Level 3 NICU, Mother and Baby Unit, antenatal clinic, and Neonatal Follow-up clinic.
  • Participate in academic and research activities, including teaching and mentoring students and residents.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto.
  • Minimum 2 years subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine during fellowship.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience working as an Assistant Professor rank or have an Associate Professor/Professor rank.
  • Demonstrated academic commitment and excellence in clinical care.
  • Special interest or training in subspecialties such as respirology, neurology, nutritional sciences, or other.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary ($241,372 – $255,749) commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • Opportunity for leadership role as Clinical Director of Nurseries (level 3 and level 1 nurseries).
