About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Above The Line Construction Ltd. as a key member of our management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting and Estimating

Develop and submit comprehensive construction project budget estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.

Schedule and Milestone Management

Plan, prepare, and monitor construction schedules and milestones, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.

Contract Negotiation and Administration

Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Quality Control and Assurance

Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring high-quality construction outcomes and client satisfaction.

Budget Planning and Management

Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.

Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

Prepare regular reports on project progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Operational Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting client expectations.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as construction management or a related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Work Setting

Ability to work in various locations, including construction sites, offices, and other environments as required.

Security and Safety

Must undergo a criminal record check and maintain a high level of security and safety awareness.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
