Certified Field Trainer Role Overview

As a Certified Field Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering practical training and mentorship to newly hired Pest Specialists at Rentokil Initial. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting on-site training for new Pest Specialists
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to trainees
  • Completing the Rentokil Initial Field Training Certification Program

In addition to your primary duties, as a Certified Field Trainer, you will also be tasked with:

  • Accompanying job candidates during training sessions
  • Offering constructive feedback and evaluations for trainees
  • Performing weekly assessments and documenting trainee progress

As a mentor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing a supportive relationship with trainees
  • Addressing trainee inquiries and concerns
  • Guiding trainees through various training stages
  • Facilitating a smooth transition into a productive role
  • Communicating any issues to the trainee's supervisor

Qualifications Required

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pest Specialist with Rentokil Initial
  • Successful completion of the Career Advancement Program
  • Possession of a valid state/province applicator license
  • A favorable Annual Performance Review
  • Exemplary professional conduct

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation includes the standard rate for Field Training days, a retention bonus for mentorship roles, and opportunities for professional development. This position offers a chance to significantly impact pest control training.
