CGS Federal is in search of a Power BI Developer to enhance our technical support efforts for a significant Federal agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct enterprise-level Data Analytics models utilizing Microsoft's Power BI
  • Create tabular and multidimensional models adhering to warehouse standards
  • Develop self-service models and data analytics through Power BI service
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Azure platform and services (Power BI, Flow, Cortana, etc.)
  • Experience with data gateways, data integration, and self-service data preparation
  • Generate, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards to fulfill business needs
  • Collaborate with business users to gather functional and data requirements for enhancing data models
  • Skilled in requirement analysis, design, and prototyping
  • Strong grasp of Data Analytics application security layer models
  • Familiarity with ESRI or similar geographical mapping systems and tools is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with Government personnel at the CTO or SES level

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 2-4 years of experience in Data Analytic technologies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365, Microsoft Azure
  • Proficient in SQL and RDBMS technologies
  • Experience in Agile project delivery and meeting tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with Web API
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps (VSTS)
  • Experience with ETL, SSAS, and SSIS
  • Understanding of SSRS Reporting

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Government software development policies and procedures
  • Experience in client-facing communication
  • Federal Agency issued security clearance
