Position Overview:

As a key player in the CGS team, the eDiscovery Laboratory Manager will utilize extensive industry expertise and analytical skills to oversee the management of electronic data processing services.

Department: Finance

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and precise handling of incoming electronic productions in accordance with established ESI specifications. You will provide comprehensive feedback to case attorneys regarding any discrepancies found during the processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of lab data processing services, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and develop processing strategies for electronic files, adhering to ESI specifications.
  • Consult with legal teams on best practices for ESI compliance and participate in discussions with relevant stakeholders as needed.
  • Keep clients informed about lab activities, including deadlines and technical challenges.
  • Oversee web hosting support for cases managed by the lab.
  • Manage a team of eDiscovery professionals, including scheduling, task assignments, and quality control of deliverables.
  • Advise legal staff on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), including Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Relativity is essential.
  • Preferred certifications include Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and/or Relativity Analytics Specialist.
  • A minimum of eight years in eDiscovery roles, with a focus on electronic files processing and data analysis.
  • At least five years of supervisory experience is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow is necessary.
  • Familiarity with document review software such as iConect, Relativity, and Venio is beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with litigation support tools like LAW, IPRO, and Concordance is highly valued.
