Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our esteemed organization. This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care in a supportive environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process effectively to deliver exceptional nursing care to residents.
  • Oversee care services, ensuring that our residents receive excellent support while mentoring and guiding the care team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments for new residents and provide ongoing evaluations throughout their stay.
  • Establish care priorities tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
  • Develop and implement personalized service plans that focus on individual care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and community-specific policies.
  • Engage in risk management through regular audits of care practices.
  • Administer medications as required, with knowledge of Point-Click-Care (PCC) being advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Practical Nurse License in good standing.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Preparedness to respond effectively to emergency situations.
  • Experience in senior care settings is a valuable asset.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills applicable to both residents and staff.
  • Familiarity with Point-Click-Care (PCC) is considered beneficial.
