Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our esteemed organization. This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care in a supportive environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process effectively to deliver exceptional nursing care to residents.
- Oversee care services, ensuring that our residents receive excellent support while mentoring and guiding the care team.
- Conduct thorough assessments for new residents and provide ongoing evaluations throughout their stay.
- Establish care priorities tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
- Develop and implement personalized service plans that focus on individual care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and community-specific policies.
- Engage in risk management through regular audits of care practices.
- Administer medications as required, with knowledge of Point-Click-Care (PCC) being advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Practical Nurse License in good standing.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Preparedness to respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Experience in senior care settings is a valuable asset.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills applicable to both residents and staff.
- Familiarity with Point-Click-Care (PCC) is considered beneficial.
