Job Title: Office Assistant

Total Fire Protection is a leading life safety service and fire monitoring provider in the Ottawa area, serving a diverse range of businesses and institutions. We offer a comprehensive range of life and safety equipment services, including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, fire hydrants, backflow preventers, sprinkler systems, and more.

We are seeking a temporary part-time Office Assistant to join our team, with the possibility of a permanent position. The ideal candidate will work closely with technicians, office staff, and clients in a fast-paced and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and send account statements to clients
  • Create and send invoices using our company software
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and process payments from customers using online software
Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Multitasking skills to handle a variety of tasks, clients, and requirements
  • Excellent writing skills to communicate effectively with clients and staff
  • Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
