About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C#/.Net developer to join our electronic trading team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software applications in an AGILE environment for price/inventory publication, inquiry management, and straight-through processing of electronic trades.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, multithreaded application development, and messaging technologies. Experience with.Net C#, Git, and agile development practices is essential. Knowledge of Fixed Income Products, such as Bonds and IRS, and Electronic Trading (dealer to client and inter-dealer) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain software applications for electronic trading
  2. Ensure data and flows between trading and settlement applications are maintained
  3. Manage initiatives from start to end, including working with users and business analysts to understand user needs and translate requirements into systems
  4. Work with senior developers to propose designs and implement projects
  5. Estimate effort and ensure timely delivery
  6. Follow agile and continuous delivery methodology
  7. Ensure code is well tested
  8. Follow release management and change management processes
  9. Provide 2nd and 3rd level of support
  10. Assist the support team in the rollout of releases
  11. Provide clear and consistent reports to clients and management
  12. Collaborate with other teams, including networking, systems, quality insurance, support, architects, and other development teams
  13. Improve quality of development using IT best practices
  14. Participate as a motivated, proactive, and highly contributing member of the global team
  15. Manage several streams of work concurrently
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong technical skills in.Net C#
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, multithreaded application development, and messaging technologies
  • Experience with Git, agile development practices, and CI/CD frameworks
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Products and Electronic Trading is a plus
