Electronic Trading Development Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Trading Development Analyst to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our electronic trading team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software applications for price/inventory publication, inquiry management, and straight-through processing of electronic trades.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Trading Systems: Design, develop, and maintain software applications for electronic trading, including client and server-side development.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts: Work closely with business analysts to understand user needs and translate requirements into systems.
- Ensure Agile Methodology: Ensure that agile development practices are followed, including continuous delivery and change management processes.
- Provide Technical Support: Be responsible for the 2nd and 3rd level of support, assist the support team in the rollout of releases, and provide clear and consistent reports to clients and management.
- Collaborate with Other Teams: Collaborate with other teams, including networking, systems, quality assurance, support, architects, and other development teams.
- Education: Graduate with a Master's degree in Computer Science or related subject.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.
- Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming, strong technical skills in.Net C#, multithreaded application development knowledge, understanding of messaging technologies, and strong knowledge of programming design patterns including MVVM.
- Experience: Experience in CI/CD frameworks and standard DevOps tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, JIRA,...), knowledge of Fixed Income Products such as Bonds and IRS, and knowledge of Electronic trading (dealer to client and inter-dealer).
