About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Trading Development Analyst to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our electronic trading team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software applications for price/inventory publication, inquiry management, and straight-through processing of electronic trades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software applications for electronic trading, including client and server-side development
  • Work with business analysts to understand user needs and translate requirements into systems
  • Collaborate with senior developers to propose designs and implement projects
  • Ensure agile and continuous delivery methodology is followed
  • Ensure code is well tested and release management/change management processes are followed
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level of support for electronic trading systems
  • Assist the support team in the rollout of releases
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with clients and management
  • Collaborate with other teams, including networking, systems, quality assurance, support, architects, and other development teams
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • Strong technical skills in.Net C#
  • Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Understanding of messaging technologies
  • Strong knowledge of programming design patterns, including MVVM
  • Source control tools, preferably Git
  • Understanding of agile development practices
  • Proficient in Dependency Injection and Entity Framework
  • Experience in CI/CD frameworks and standard DevOps tools
