About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic Trading Development Analyst to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our electronic trading team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software applications for price/inventory publication, inquiry management, and straight-through processing of electronic trades.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Trading Systems: Design, develop, and maintain software applications for electronic trading, including price/inventory publication, inquiry management, and straight-through processing.
  2. Collaborate with Business Analysts: Work closely with business analysts to understand user needs and translate requirements into systems.
  3. Implement Agile Development Practices: Ensure that all development work is done in accordance with agile development practices, including continuous delivery and change management processes.
  4. Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support to the electronic trading team, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with trading systems.
  5. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and developments in electronic trading, including new technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A graduate degree in computer science or a related field is required.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in.Net C#, multithreaded application development, and messaging technologies are required.
  • Experience with Agile Development: Experience with agile development practices, including continuous delivery and change management processes, is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
