Sales Excellence - Achieving Results

Ideal Candidate Location: Candidates should be located in the Ottawa or North Toronto regions.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and marketing teams to devise and execute strategies aimed at enhancing Masonite's market presence within the designated territory.
  • Cultivate relationships with retail customers to maximize sales opportunities with key contractors servicing the remodeling market. Utilize independent judgment and creativity to drive new sales.
  • Assess point-of-sale data by territory and store to identify optimization opportunities that will enhance unit and revenue growth. Ensure all store layouts and product placements are aligned with sales performance metrics.
  • Spearhead in-store partnership initiatives to boost sales performance across all product lines, including promotional offers, new product launches, and high-demand SKUs.
  • Collaborate with the Pro Account Leader to identify, develop, and secure regional contracts with contractors and remodelers, employing independent judgment and creativity in securing these sales agreements.
  • Organize, promote, and execute sales events and commercial partnerships that drive growth in store market share.
  • Provide quotes and finalize large-scale projects with remodelers and contractors, contributing to increased sales volume at the retail level.
  • Enhance sales within the Millwork Department, Installed Sales, and the PRO desk through effective sales presentations, networking, and analytical tools, focusing on high-margin opportunities.
  • Actively seek out channel opportunities and engage with professional remodelers to drive additional traffic and sales volume for Masonite and our retail partners.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations to key store personnel to secure their support and increase Masonite's market share in special orders.
  • Drive profitability through product mix enhancements and upselling strategies.
  • Responsible for recommending products to stores and directly to consumers in-store to boost sales volume.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Conduct sales presentations to key store personnel to enhance Masonite's market presence in special orders.
  • Manage in-store relationships with a focus on increasing sales and facilitating channel activities.
  • Accountable for recommending products to stores and directly to consumers to elevate sales volume.
  • Monitor and address store and customer service issues promptly.
  • Plan, promote, and execute sales events and commercial partnerships that drive store share growth.
  • Develop and implement area sales strategies.
  • Enhance profitability through product mix improvements and upselling.
  • Provide field-based insights on products, market trends, and competitive intelligence to sales leadership.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • A minimum of six months to two years of experience in account development and/or management and retail sales is preferred.
  • Experience in the building materials industry is advantageous.
