About the Role

Certispec Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Laboratory Apparatus: You will be responsible for operating various laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and other analytical instruments.
  • Assist in Set Up and Conduction of Chemical Experiments: You will assist in the set up and conduction of chemical experiments, including preparing samples, conducting tests, and analyzing results.
  • Compile Records for Analytical Studies: You will be responsible for compiling records of analytical studies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist in Developing Programs of Sampling and Analysis: You will assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards, including designing sampling plans and analyzing data.
  • Assist in Design and Fabrication of Experimental Apparatus: You will assist in the design and fabrication of experimental apparatus, including creating prototypes and testing equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have a degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, or physics.
  • Experience: You must have at least 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a strong background in analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: You will be responsible for providing support for persons with disabilities, including offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: You will be responsible for supporting newcomers and refugees, including providing foreign credential recognition and mentorship programs.
  • Support for Youths: You will be responsible for providing support for youths, including awareness training and mentorship programs.
  • Support for Indigenous People: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: You will be responsible for providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
