Position Overview

Client Care Specialist - Veterinary Reception

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Client Care Specialist to join our team at VCA Canada. This full-time role is essential for ensuring that our clients and their pets receive the highest level of service and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere for both pets and their owners.
  • Efficiently manage a multi-line phone system, including appointment scheduling and follow-up calls.
  • Handle email communications with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal messages.
  • Assist with the admission and discharge processes for pet patients.
  • Manage invoicing and billing, including creating estimates and processing payments.
  • Maintain an organized schedule for appointments.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a comforting environment for clients.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness in reception and common areas.
  • Show a willingness to learn about veterinary services and assist staff with various tasks.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and location.
