We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Tri Lake Animal Hospital and Referral Centre. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient and client care, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets, ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
- Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling client correspondence.
- Process payments, create estimates, and explain fees to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Admit and discharge patients, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the removal of animal waste and general housekeeping duties.
- Assist the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow in your role.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
