VCA is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Client Care Specialist to enhance our veterinary services team. In this full-time position, your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and their pets, ensuring they feel appreciated and well cared for. Key responsibilities and attributes for this role include:
- Fostering a warm and inviting environment for pets and their owners
- Efficiently managing a multi-line phone system and accurately scheduling appointments
- Conducting follow-up calls with pet owners regarding appointments
- Handling email communications with clients and referring veterinarians
- Managing the admission and discharge processes for pet patients
- Overseeing invoicing and billing, providing clear fee explanations, confirming consent, and processing payments
- Scheduling appointments while delivering exceptional customer service
- Exhibiting strong organizational capabilities
- Maintaining cleanliness in reception and pet holding areas
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn about veterinary services and assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (varies by location)
