Orthopaedic Technician Opportunity at Alberta Health Services

Alberta Health Services is in search of a committed Orthopaedic Technician to become a vital part of their healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, modify, and remove casts, splints, and traction devices for patients undergoing orthopaedic treatment.
  • Observe and communicate any changes in the patient's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care while adhering to the core values of Alberta Health Services.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse educational program.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Graduation from an accredited orthopaedic technician training program.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification.
