Business Development Manager

EMCO Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor in the construction industry, seeks a skilled Business Development Manager to drive profitable sales growth at the Profit Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer needs and develop strategic partnerships
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects
  • Lead the sales process and meet revenue targets
  • Analyze market data to inform business decisions
  • Process orders and resolve customer issues
  • Facilitate payment of accounts receivable
  • Implement vendor programs and participate in industry events
  • Adhere to safety regulations and support Profit Centre activities
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • College or University degree
  • Minimum 2 years of business development or sales experience
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market analysis
  • Experience with sales management software

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems
