We are seeking a skilled Merchandising Representative to join our team in Courtenay, BC. As a Merchandising Representative, you will be responsible for merchandising and representing products from various suppliers to big-box stores in your territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Merchandising and Product Presentation: Ensure products are properly displayed and faced in stores, maintaining a visually appealing and organized store environment.
- Marketing and Sales: Identify opportunities for cross-merchandising and mass merchandising to increase sales and product visibility.
- Display Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain displays, ensuring they are attractive and effective in promoting products.
- Planogram Execution: Read and execute planograms as necessary, during resets, to maintain optimal product placement and presentation.
- Daily Reporting: Utilize a mobile reporting app to document daily activities, including taking photos of work completed.
- Store Relationships: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with store managers to ensure a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Special Mandates: Execute special mandates required by clients, including audits and display installations.
- Vehicle Ownership: Must have a reliable vehicle for travel to stores.
- Merchandising Experience: Previous experience in merchandising and reading planograms is an asset.
- Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally lift and carry loads up to 15 kgs.
- Territorial Coverage: Must be able to cover your assigned territory, with mileage reimbursement provided.
