About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RAN Operations Manager to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the workforce for preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize network availability and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the wireless network, ensuring maximum coverage and quality.
  • Workforce Management: Manage a team of technicians to perform maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and refine processes for maintenance and optimization activities.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Plan and schedule the commissioning of new sites, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • RF Measurements and Data Collection: Coordinate field RF measurements and data collection to support the radio network optimization process.
  • Audit and Quality Control: Conduct site acceptance audits to ensure the wireless cellular access network meets quality standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of wireless cellular telecom network architecture, RF principles, and technical document writing.
  • Leadership Skills: Effective communicator, leader, and coach with experience in managing a technical workforce.
  • Education and Certifications: Electrical/Electronics degree or Technologist diploma, with relevant certifications such as OHS and Working at Heights.
  • Travel and Availability: Ability to travel throughout the region as required, with a satisfactory criminal background check and driver's abstract.
