Job Title: Automotive Operations Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and organised Automotive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vehicle repair and maintenance facility at AK MOTORS LTD. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of automotive repair, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. The Automotive Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining high standards of service quality, and driving the profitability and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Management: Supervise all aspects of the repair and maintenance facility, including operations, maintenance, and administrative functions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Customer Service: Ensure outstanding customer service by handling complaints and providing prompt, professional support to meet customer needs.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that spare parts, materials, and equipment are available and managed efficiently to support repair and maintenance operations.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets, control expenses, and ensure the facility meets its financial targets to drive business growth.
  • Quality Control: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain high standards of repair and maintenance work to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Scheduling: Organise maintenance and repair schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs and meet customer expectations.
  • Reporting: Create and analyse performance reports to make data-driven decisions to improve operations and drive business growth.
  • Compliance: Ensure completed work complies with safety and statutory regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repair work to monitor and prevent recurring issues and improve operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in management software and tools.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £39,000.00-£39,500.00 per year
