About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Wen Miao. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, or watching movies.
  • Household Duties: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide support with mobility and transfers.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, using your initiative and judgment to make decisions and prioritize tasks.

Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
