Home Support Worker Home Support Worker

Join our team as a Home Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and their families, providing them with the care and support they need to live independently.

Job Summary
  • Provide personal care and support to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist patients with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties, ensuring their living space is clean and comfortable.
  • Provide respite care for patients while their primary caregivers are away, giving them a much-needed break.
  • Maintain awareness of patients' needs, interests, and abilities, providing individualized care and support.
  • Travel within assigned regions to provide care and support to patients in their homes.
Qualifications
  • Supportive Care Worker Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, or completion of Term 1 of a PSW program.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check and TB Test.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
  • Effective English communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner.
