About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at HUI ZHAO. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, helping to maintain their independence.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, organized, reliability, patience, and a strong sense of empathy.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment, providing care and support to our clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, using your own initiative and judgment to make decisions about the care and support of our clients.
