Position: Part-Time User Services Associate
Department: Academic Services & Learning Resources
Compensation: $25.27 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (flexible hours)
Weekly Commitment: 24 hours
Employment Type: Regular Part-Time Support

Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver front-line assistance for Identity Management by confirming user accounts and facilitating password resets
- Guide users in configuring their personal laptops to connect to the college's wireless network
- Advise on software solutions that enhance students' academic endeavors
- Support users in accessing and utilizing Student E-mail accounts
- Conduct basic troubleshooting for user-related issues
- Ensure efficient circulation services utilizing the Library's automated system
- Verify student eligibility and register/activate students within the Library Management System
- Provide Photo-ID services
- Undertake other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of a two-year certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution in Information Technology
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a high-volume customer service or IT service setting
- Proven proficiency in office productivity software and wireless technologies
- Solid understanding of network technologies and hardware
- Familiarity with widely-used software applications
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional English communication abilities
- Capability to work independently while being part of a team
- Proficient keyboarding skills and ability to lift up to 44 lbs
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse backgrounds
- Adaptability to changing environments
