Job Summary:

Linds & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our senior partners and contribute to the success of our law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, draft, edit, and finalize closing agendas and transactional documents related to lending and corporate transactions.
  • Organize and track delivery of closing documents, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Draft renewal agreements for lending transactions and prepare annual resolutions.
  • Compile Record Books and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proofread and check documents for accuracy and quality.
  • Diarize and track deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Produce high-quality work and handle a high volume of daily administrative tasks.
  • Manage duties related to accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Arrange meetings and calendar management, ensuring efficient use of time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' previous experience as a Legal Assistant in Financial Services or Corporate Law.
  • Successful completion of a related post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
  • Knowledge of Workshare Compare or a similar document comparison program.
  • Ability to problem-solve, exercise good judgment, and make sound decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 suite of applications, including experience with creating, numbering, styling, and rebuilding documents.
  • Familiarity with iManage and DocuSign.
