Job Summary

The Boiler Systems Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of boiler units and related assemblies. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to troubleshoot and correct deficiencies in piping, burner operations, and other mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand dimensional and electrical drawings to identify and correct operating deficiencies.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve boiler system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Operate and maintain specialized testing equipment, including high pot testers, fuel gas analyzers, and vibration meters.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure boiler systems are functioning within established parameters.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical operations and ability to troubleshoot and correct deficiencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read and understand dimensional and electrical drawings.
  • Excellent eye for quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Working Conditions

The Boiler Systems Specialist will work in a normal plant, shop, field, or office environment with occasional exposure to disagreeable features. The role requires the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
