About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Barry Glotman. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential and office spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Support and Care: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Mend clothing and linens, shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for our staff and guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, private residence, employer's home.
