Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Barry Glotman. As a Domestic Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Household Management: Shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Support Services: Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, mend clothing and linens, and assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, honesty, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, private residence, and employer's home.
  • Work Site Environment: Non-smoking and outdoors.
