Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Barry Glotman. As a Domestic Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Errands and Shopping: Shop for food and household supplies, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Mend clothing and linens, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Work Environment:
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, private residence, and employer's home.
  • Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, outdoors, and physically demanding.
