Energy Collections Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Collection Analyst to join our team at Electricenergyonline. As a Collection Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring end-to-end credit and collection policies and processes. Your primary responsibilities will include providing collection support for various markets, reviewing and investigating past due accounts, and communicating with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide collection support for various markets
- Review, investigate, and recommend action on past due accounts
- Call customers with large outstanding balances
- Create, manage, and issue specific customer communications (such as drop notices or demand letters)
- Communicate with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues
- Reconciliation of accounts in case of discrepancies and preparation of reports as needed
- Identify and help execute process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 year of collections or accounts receivable experience
- Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure their timely completion
- Ability to adapt to constant change
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a requirement for this role
