Bilingual Pharmacy Strategy Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Bilingual Pharmacy Strategy Specialist. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in shaping our pharmacy strategy in the Quebec market.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in Green Shield's Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, providing expert insights and recommendations on drug benefit evaluation and listing decisions.
- Provide guidance on formulary development, drug benefit administration, and drug claims adjudication, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the pharmacy clinical services team in evaluating drug prior authorization requests and providing subject matter expertise.
- Develop and maintain the pharmacy product portfolio, focusing on the Quebec market and ensuring competitive positioning.
- Act as a subject matter expert for existing and new pharmacy products and offerings, providing education and support to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the pharmacy benefits industry, with a focus on the Quebec market.
- Collaborate with clients to field, manage, and respond to drug and pharmacy inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Develop and deliver pharmacy benefits-related presentations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.
- Support the creation and maintenance of best-in-class RFP responses for pharmacy offerings, ensuring Green Shield's competitive edge.
- Strong working knowledge of the regulatory and competitive environment for prescription drugs and pharmacy benefits, with awareness of key trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
- Proven planning and organizational skills, with the ability to make effective decisions and recommendations.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to travel and work in a bilingual environment (French and English).
- Licensed pharmacist in good standing to practice in the province of Quebec.
