Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our Stouffville site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aggregate production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Develop and implement a site-level safety culture, ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety policies and regulations.
  • Production Management: Oversee the daily operation of the plant, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Financial Management: Manage the site's budget, including cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Human Resources: Lead and develop a team of direct reports, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Community Relations: Foster positive relationships with local stakeholders, including neighbors, community groups, and government officials.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the aggregates or construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
