About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are motivated and productive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of restaurant staff, including shift managers, crew members, and kitchen staff.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving stock.
    • Ensure that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, meeting health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's budget, including forecasting and controlling expenses.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and development opportunities for team members, including on-the-job training and coaching.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as hospitality or business.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
