About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Kenora Pizza LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Food and Beverage Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all inventory is managed effectively.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service.
  • Administrative and Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
    • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
    • Physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication.
    • Flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
Working Conditions

40 hours per week, permanent position.
