Culinary Services Supervisor

The role of the Food Service Supervisor is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality service.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
The supervisor will operate within a dynamic food service setting, ensuring that all activities align with our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Guarantee that food quality and service adhere to established control standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Organize and establish work schedules for staff.
This position involves supervising a team of approximately 5-10 individuals.
Safety and SecurityApplicants must be bondable to ensure the safety and security of the establishment.
Transportation RequirementsPossession of personal transportation is required for this role.
Work Conditions- Fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
- Strong client focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
