Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

The supervisor will operate within a dynamic food service setting, ensuring that all activities align with our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Guarantee that food quality and service adhere to established control standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Organize and establish work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of approximately 5-10 individuals.

Safety and Security

Applicants must be bondable to ensure the safety and security of the establishment.

Transportation Requirements

Possession of personal transportation is required for this role.

Work Conditions

  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.

Experience
