Position: Culinary Services Supervisor
Job Overview:
As a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service. Your leadership will ensure that all food quality standards are met while fostering a productive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient food portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their roles, including sanitation and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding food service operations.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervision:
- Food and beverage servers
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service helpers
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school education.
- Food Safety Certificate is required.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require bending and kneeling.
