Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Service Parts Manager/Supervisor, this role is essential for the efficient staging of all installations within Enercare Home Services, ensuring precise inventory management through the GERS system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure parts, equipment, and supplies necessary for the Home Services division.
- Receive and process parts, equipment, and supplies, including returns from customers, contractors, and staff.
- Manage the input, recording, ordering, and movement of inventory, ensuring that all staging of parts and supplies aligns with the operational needs of regional field personnel.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and facilitate the recycling of parts and equipment.
- Handle the pickup and delivery of parts and supplies as required.
- Operate a forklift or clamp truck safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, office area, and surrounding yard, including minor snow removal to uphold a safe working environment.
- Occasionally travel to support operations in other locations.
- Be available for on-call requests during emergency situations.
- Typically work independently or with minimal supervision to ensure coverage during operational hours.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school education or equivalent.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in PC applications, particularly Excel.
- Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record and a Forklift Operator license.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting as outlined in the Physical Needs Analysis.
- Previous experience in inventory control is preferred.
- Familiarity with core systems such as Clarify & GERS is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining required certifications (e.g., Forklift) to perform job duties.
- Proven dedication to delivering customer-focused service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision.
- Results-driven, achieving high performance standards both individually and as part of a team.
