Clinical Operations Assistant

This role provides administrative support to the assigned area within Fraser Health, focusing on substance use services. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Coordinator and report to the Manager, Clinical Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reception services, including operating a multi-line switchboard, registering new patients, and booking appointments.
- Support the setup and dismantling of exam rooms, obtain and deliver specimens, and arrange blood tests and diagnostic testing as assigned.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, reports/records, and internal and courier documents.
- Operate office equipment, including photocopiers, shredders, and fax machines, and perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with staff from health care and social service organizations to provide program-related information.
- Represent the assigned program by attending various meetings as required.
The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 diploma, completion of a Medical Office Assistant diploma, and one year of recent related office/clerical experience. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

- Demonstrated ability to use applicable computer equipment and software at a basic level.
- Working knowledge of general office practices and procedures and their application.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
