We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Clinical Operations to lead our clinical department/service in Fraser Health. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction on strategies, planning, design, implementation, delivery, and assessment of assigned clinical department/service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic/operational planning, integration, implementation, and delivery of a program/department/service.
- Collaborate to communicate program/department/service needs and outcomes.
- Ensure program/department/service operate within approved financial mandate.
- Review and endorse budgets and financial plans developed by Managers.
- Oversee development of policies supports for integration and standardization of health programs/services.
- Ensure standardization of practice, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.
- Represent the program/department/service in the health service community, civic/provincial governments, or others.
- Ensure performance management criteria form the basis of metrics for program and individual performance plans.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's level of education in a field related to healthcare management, supplemented with seven to ten years' recent related, progressively responsible leadership experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
The candidate must demonstrate the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous and create the conditions for people to succeed.
They must also have demonstrated leadership in roles to lead and move forward complex organizational change issues across health service needs, which support broad transformational objectives.
Additionally, the candidate must have a sound working knowledge of planning concepts related to service delivery, budgetary, staffing, quality, and strategic initiatives.
Proven presentation skills within a senior leadership capacity are also required.
