Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  2. Manage and coordinate staff schedules, aligning shifts with operational demands.
  3. Train and mentor team members, guiding them in effective guest interactions and service excellence.
  4. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to guarantee a memorable dining experience.
  5. Monitor team performance, providing timely feedback and support.
  6. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient order processing and delivery.
  7. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including both front and back of house.
  9. Assist in inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels for service.
  10. Handle cash transactions and oversee payment processes.
  11. Communicate daily specials and menu updates to the team.
  12. Work alongside the Manager to implement health and safety regulations and uphold food safety standards.
  13. Lead pre-shift meetings to inform staff about menu changes and important updates.
  14. Act as a resource for team members, addressing their questions and concerns.
  15. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  16. Maintain open communication with the Manager to ensure smooth operations.
  17. Assist in managing high-pressure situations, such as busy service periods.
  18. Engage in ongoing training to stay informed about industry trends and service standards.
  19. Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  20. Encourage teamwork and a strong work ethic to uphold the restaurant's reputation.
  21. Promote VIP card sales to enhance customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience in Fine Dining or Casual-Fine Dining settings.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with a preference for Asian cuisine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.
  • Experience with Touch Bistro is advantageous.
  • WSET certification in Wine or Sake is a plus.
  • Valid work permit required.
