Position Overview

As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Budget Excavating and Trucking Ltd., you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various heavy machinery. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage heavy construction equipment.
  • Utilize computer-controlled machinery effectively.
  • Familiarize yourself with material safety data sheets (MSDS) to ensure safe handling of materials.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of equipment usage.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
  • Interpret and execute plans, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Working Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
